AFFILIATION

Pastors Donald and Carolyn Kielley first met in 1985 at By His Word Christian Center in Tacoma, Washington, Pastor Jann Butler being the residing Senior Pastor.  Don and Carolyn were raised up spiritually together and were married in 1986 by Pastor Jann.  Don and Carolyn faithfully served Pastor Jann and the church, being ordained in 1991 as Elders called into the fulltime, five-fold ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jann felt led of the Lord to start a church in Bremerton, Washington in Kitsap County.  He asked Don and Carolyn to come and help him establish the work, originally known as Word of the Spirit, and they faithfully served in this capacity for 1 1/2 years.  Pastor Jann knew he must turn this work over so he asked Don and Carolyn to pray about accepting the pastorate.  After prayer and fasting they accepted the position and were ordained in September 1991 as Senior Pastors over the work.

Today the church is known as Word & Spirit Church.  We are a non-denominational church teaching the Word of Faith.  We don't believe in emotionalism but we believe God can and does touch people's emotions by His Spirit.  We believe a Christian can and should express their love for God with their whole being.  Our worship is alive with shouting, dancing and running.

All the programs we offer are Word & Spirit based.

We have experienced miracles and healings because of God's great and intense love for mankind.
